In addition to producing most of the original music for All The Ladies Say film and trailers, Gabriel Kwikstep Dionisio is an internationally renowned dancer and Hip hop dance historian. He began his dance journey at the age of 8 and by the time he was 21 had appeared in music videos, film and had traveled to China. He was an integral part of a new wave of theater that would bring Hip hop to the stage. He won a Bessie award for choreography and is a recipient of an award recognizing his talents as a dance teacher by the American Dance Festival.
He cofounded Full Circle Souljahs, a non profit Bronx Based dance company, that ushers young aspiring local dancers into the multi faceted Hip hop dance field. His most recent choreographic foray was for the Flea Theater’s Syncing Ink musical. Not only does he teach, choreograph and create stories for Full Circle dancers, he also produces all the music for the performances. Behind the Groove is a one of a kind dance party that invites dancers to enjoy the authentic atmosphere of NYC’s club hey day. A few of his DJ credits include Lincoln Center Out of Doors where he opened for CHIC, he curated and played for a four night dance program in Times Square and he took on the role of a DJ for “Boxed In” at DanSpace theater in NYC.
