Yes, finally, we have a location and a date just before the Holidays hit hard!! Thank you Hip-hop Theater Festival / Hi Arts for not only offering us your Artist-in-Residence in-kind space donation where we weekly train our dance company and aspiring young dancers but for coming forward and letting us use your Gallery space to screen our B girl documentary.

At this time in NYC, there is a resurgence of support for the B girl experience including an all B girl practice session in Queens, a first ever all B girl dance competition happening at EXPG Studios on November 15 7pm-11pm hosted by Goody Roc ” Queen B Girl” and then a “Healing Movement” created by B girl Sara Ahn which is an event that revolves around the B girl experience and poetry and music etc on November 21st. Hit me back here for details about these B girl activities/events happening in NYC.

“All The Ladies Say” is a film that highlights the lives of six iconic female street dancers from San Jose, Atlanta, Miami and Chicago, who have carved a niche in the physically challenging, male dominated breakdance world. Discussions about motherhood, sexual tension, femininity versus masculinity and the rap industry/mainstream images are a few of the themes explored by the documentary’s main characters. International dancers not only make appearances but also add their two cents about life as a B Girl in the Hip-hop world.
